immutable : freezing motion and animating stillness
this project is part of an ongoing research on the landscape where the st-barnabé island – located in front of the city of rimouski – moves slowly, almost imperceptibly, like a boat sailing off out in the sea. immutable reflects on the passing of time, and how it transforms us and inevitably finishes by erasing the traces of our passage.

ce projet s’inscrit dans une recherche en cours sur le paysage où l’île st-barnabé – situé face à la ville de rimouski – s’active lentement, presque imperceptiblement, tel un bateau qui navigue au large. immuable propose une réflexion sur le temps qui passe, celui qui nous transforme et qui fini inévitablement par effacer les traces de notre passage.
