constructed landscape made from a historical photograph.
the work is a photographic montage that offers a rebuilt view of the city of st-therese where icons are superimposed over the landscape, evoking a computer screen.
these icons are the files used throughout the process of creating the work, which examines both the way we look on the architectural heritage of the city, as well as the growing influence of technology in our every day lives.

paysage vraisemblable composé à partir d’une photographie historique. l’œuvre consiste en un montage photographique qui offre un point de vue reconstruit de la ville de sainte-thérèse. l’image d’archives transformée, superposée à un étalement d’icônes indiquant la présence de fichiers informatiques, évoque un fond d’écran d’ordinateur. ces icônes correspondent aux fichiers utilisés tout au long du processus de création de l’œuvre, qui interroge tant le regard que nous posons sur le patrimoine architectural de la ville que l’influence croissante des technologiques dans notre vie de tous les jours.
